AI transparency

How iPulse uses AI

We use AI to make your products smarter and faster. Below is an honest overview of what we use AI for, how you can tell when you're interacting with it, and the limits we set ourselves. This supports the transparency obligations of the EU AI Act.

In short

Several features across iPulse and the Pulse products (such as PulseGuard, PulseFiles, PulseQR, PulseSync and PulseCalendar) use artificial intelligence. AI helps us spot patterns, turn raw data into understandable insights and speed up routine work.

AI is always assistive here. Its outputs are a tool, not a final verdict. People remain responsible for decisions taken on the basis of those outputs.

What we use AI for

An overview of the kinds of AI features in our products. We describe categories, not individual models.

Monitoring analysis

AI helps analyse monitoring data and summarise what's happening with a service or website, so you see the essentials faster.

Anomaly detection

AI flags unusual patterns in measurements, so potential problems stand out earlier than with fixed thresholds alone.

AI assistant & chat

Some areas offer an AI assistant that answers questions or suggests actions. You can always see clearly when a response was generated by AI.

Synthetic insights

AI helps interpret the results of synthetic and performance checks and turn them into practical recommendations.

Text & content support

Where applicable, AI helps draft or summarise text, such as draft notifications or reports. You can always review and edit it.

Smart suggestions

AI may suggest settings, labels or next steps to speed up your work. Suggestions are only applied once you confirm them.

Our principles

The commitments we hold ourselves to when using AI.

Transparency

You are informed when you interact with an AI assistant or view AI-generated output. AI results are presented in a way that makes them recognisable as such.

Human oversight

AI is assistive. Important decisions stay with people; you or your team keep final responsibility and can always ignore or correct a suggestion.

No prohibited practices

We do not use AI for social scoring, biometric categorisation, facial recognition or manipulative techniques that subtly steer people's behaviour.

Data & AI

How we process data is set out in our Privacy Policy. We commit to not using customer data to train third-party foundation models without consent.

Quality & honesty

We aim for useful, reliable outputs and recognise that AI can make mistakes. That's why human verification stays part of the process.

Right to human contact

You never have to settle for an AI. For questions, or a decision you'd like reviewed, you can always reach a human at iPulse.
